Garden enthusiasts

For happy house owners like us there's no time to loaf on a sofa when the weather is getting sunny and warm in our part of the world. Now we like to spend some time in the garden doing big and small projects.
It all started when we bought our house in 2007. The first thing David said was: "Oh, I love all this greenery in front of the house!!!" There was SO MUCH greenery that one couldn't see the house from the street at all!

This is how it looked. With time we realised that trees and bushes are not only covering the house and taking the light away, but also require MUCH time of garden work to keep it nice and trimed. So last spring we did this to our front garden.

Big front and side terasse project was all hand-made by David, his creativity and his spade (and a little bit of pregnant-at- the- time Katya's supervision).
This year we continued removing trees and bushes in front of the house. The big ones were taken down by the local electricity company, after we described to them all the danger of the brunches growing into the cabels. So, now it looks like this.

The grass has been planted in the very corner last weekend. This is also where we plan a small fruit tree garden. A short fencing will be put up along all the front in the coming weekend.
Those of you out there not being scared of getting your fingers dirty and wanting to enjoy some sun and fresh air, and of course a nice barbeque afterwards in candle lit back yard- always wellcome!!!
